Dr. Rebecca Trossman, Ph.D., C. Psych. (Supervised Practice)
Dr. Rebecca Trossman completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo. She has completed training at several hospitals and mental health clinics, including Baycrest, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo. She completed her pre-doctoral residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at Baycrest, providing assessment and intervention services for adults and older adults with a range of presenting concerns. At MCA, Dr. Trossman provides psychological and neuropsychological assessment services, and treatment services to adults and older adults with diverse needs related to mental health and wellbeing.
She takes an integrative, client-centered approach to treatment, working collaboratively with clients to draw from a variety of treatment modalities in order to best meet each client’s individual needs and goals. In addition to providing assessment and treatment services at MCA, she is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, providing assessment and intervention services to individuals following acquired brain injuries.
Dr. Trossman is supervised by Dr. Melanie Cochrane, Ph.D., C.Psych.
