Dr. Ashley Di Battista, Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Ashley Di Battista is a compassionate and highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She works with adults who have experienced brain injuries, strokes, cancer, schizophrenia, psychosis, neurodevelopmental and neurodiverse conditions. She offers thoughtful, individualized care that blends deep clinical expertise with genuine warmth and respect for each person’s unique journey.

With a focus on both assessment and treatment, Dr. Di Battista provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and evidence-based interventions tailored to meet her clients' specific needs and goals. Her approach is collaborative, empowering, and grounded in the latest scientific research, helping individuals gain clarity, confidence, and meaningful strategies for moving forward.

Dr. Di Battista earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Melbourne in 2013, following an MA in Clinical Neuropsychology in 2010. Her academic path also includes a Master’s in Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Sciences and a Specialized Honours BA from York University. She has completed extensive clinical training across both hospital and community settings in Canada and Australia, equipping her with a rich, culturally informed perspective on care.She was the second ever recipient of the Women in Neurotrauma Research (WiNTR) award in 2008. She has published her research articles in peer reviewed medical and psychological journals and presented at multiple international research conferences.

Her clinically oriented research in brain injury, quality of life and wellbeing has sparked international interest, including interviews about her findings (which you can read about here).She spent time working in the technology sector during COVID19, which has inspired her to integrate the tech we use daily on our phones and computers to make it as easy for individuals searching for mental health services in Ontario to get what they need, as it is to order a meal or an Uber. She is a member of the newly formed Tech in Psychology Committee at the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).With her blend of international experience, academic excellence, and a heart-forward approach, Dr. Di Battista is dedicated to making a real and lasting difference in the lives of those she supports.
